This picture was sent over to us by one of the lot owners. There are two baby eagles again this year and it looks like they are getting closer to the point where they will venture out of the nest and explore the awesome land their parents have chosen as their home.

This picture was taken from the front porch of the stone house on lot 72. The sunsets from lots 62 to 97 are spectacular all year around.

The water out here is so clear that it's often hard to tell that there is water above the sand I'm taking a picture of. To remedy this, I tossed a pebble in the water to make a little splash. The water clarity of the lake is a result of the hard sand bottom being filled with the strong springs that feed the lake. This is a completely natural, self-sustaining lake not dependent upon the weather and the local dam tender.

Sitting on the end of Loon Song Point, lot 75 is one of the signature lots on the lake. With 300 feet of water frontage, over 270 degree views of the water, huge pine trees and its position on the end of the point make this lot a one of a kind find. For more information, including a 360 degree virtual tour, of this lot, Click Here.

Clearwater Lake in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Stunning.

The fall colors around the lake really pop out because of the contrast created by the dark green pines and deep blue water. This picture shows the colors of some of the north ridge.

The sky is on fire! The only thing that would have made this picture nicer is if the eagle was sitting on the low dead branch on the right side of the pine in the center of the picture. It sits there occassionally during the day and it would have made a wonderful silhouette for this picture. Now, to just figure out how to train the eagles to do what I want!

How would you like a waterfront lot with wonderful views, hard sand bottom, 150 feet of water frontage, a bunch of large oaks and maples, and great fishing off your pier? Well, that's lot 47 for you. For more information on this lot, Click Here.

We decided to take a trip around the lake on the boat before a storm moved in. This picture of the back side of the leading edge of the storm front (how's that for a mouthful?!) just turned out cool so I thought I would share.

The views from the lots in the 60s are quite expansive. As you can tell from the picture, this is the early fall and in a couple of weeks both the north shore (right side of picture) and Kindling Point (left-center of picture) will explode with color.

On a trip around the lake with the boat, it is a very common occurrence to see the eagles perched up in a tree overlooking the lake. One would think a person would get used to seeing these amazing animals, but I never have. Every time I see them I find myself stopping to watch them. Watching them fish is more fun than watching them sit, but even while sitting, they are an amazing bird to look at.

It was a windy day today, perfect for sailing. Since I don't have a sailboat to take out for a spin, I settled with this picture taken from lot 43 looking to the south. The open land on the left side of the picture is Loon Song Point and then peninsula on the right hand side of the picture is Kindling Point.

When I first stepped on lot 34, I immediately deemed it the most impressive lake lot I have ever been on. The lot faces south and looks over a huge area of water. The big water view is only part of what makes this lot so awesome though. The drive in is through a woods of mature trees of all species and slowly climbs up the hill. When you reach the building site at the top of the hill you are instantly hit with a "WOW!" feeling that temporarily makes you feel like you're on top of the world. There are two huge pine trees that frame this lot and they are one of the eagle's favorite spots to sit. When you're standing at the top of the hill looking over the water and you have an eagle sitting in the huge pines that frame the lot you feel almost as if you're floating over this wonderful scene of natural beauty.

The fall colors really stand out by the shoreline of lot 55. The colors of Northern Wisconsin in the fall are wonderful to look at.

Now this is what an escape from the hassles of the real world looks like! The sunsets over our Northern Wisconsin paradise are phenomenal.

Look at this spectacular view! With many mature trees, southern exposure, sandy frontage, and a nice gentle slope from the building site to the water, Lot 41 has many great features. Furthermore, it's located off the north entrance which is in walking range of the private golf course. For all the specific details of this waterfront lot and a 360 degree virtual tour, Click Here.

This picture is of the north entrance of the property. Around the corner you see in the middle of the picture sits the large gates that announce that you are home. The drive down Memory Lane is quite spectacular in the fall.

This is one of the most impressive lots on the lake. My picture doesn't begin to do it justice. This lot has a clearing in the front (bigger now that the 3 trees on the right side of the picture blew down in a recent storm) and the beach is perfect. In the old days a train used to stop here and the people would jump in for a swim. The views are over a mile long from this lot, the exposure is western which gives you great sunset views, the beach is perfect, access is off of Memory Lane (our private road that serves the north side of the lake) and it is one of the bigger lots on the property. This is most definitely a must see lot! For more information on this wonderful waterfront lot, Click Here.

This is another picture of hole number three of the golf course. The green is protected by the two giant pines that you can see on the left and right of this picture and by a deep grass trap that sits up tight to the green.

Lot 40 is one of the many fantastic lots on the north shoreline that have southern exposure, sandy frontage, and extraordinary views. What makes it more unique is that it's 1.4 acres in size and is wider at the building site than other lots. This gives you more freedom with your building plans and also the room to put up an outbuilding for your toys as well. For more details on this lot, Click Here.

The baby eagles seem to be incredibly brave every year. This particular picture is of the baby sitting on a branch about 10 feet above the water right on the shoreline. It's awesome to see them so close to you, but it's startling as hell when they swoop off a low perch right in front of you when you don't know that they are in the area.

Here is a picture that wonderfully illustrates how clear the water is and how nice the bottom of the lake is. Most of the lake features gradual drop offs into the deep water like shown in this picture and every spot we've explored on the lake has a hard sand bottom just like you see in the picture. This particular picture was taken by lot 54.

Evenings can be peaceful and pretty even when you are looking in a direction other than west. This picture from lot 80 looks due south.

There is a reason we chose to place our pier on Lot 43. It's not only a beautiful spot, but it's also indicative of the type of lots on the north shore. These lots have the ideal hard sand bottom frontage, extended views of the lake, mature trees, and great building locations. Furthermore, the north entrance is heavily wooded and the private road is very scenic. Many of the lots are tucked away into the woods and cannot even be seen from the road. Peaceful. Private. Pristine. For the specific details of this waterfront lot, Click Here.

Here are our eagles sitting in their favorite tree overlooking Coca Cola Lake. This tree is pretty close to their nest and it must give them the right amount of space or something along those lines, because they sit in that tree all the time.

Lot 88 is one of the more unique lake lots available. It has well over 300 feet of frontage, but is shallower than the other lots. This lot has amazing panoramic sunset views all year long and as you may be able to tell from the picture, has a great hard sand bottom for swimming. There is a sand bar that extends out a couple hundred feet in front of this lot which would make for a great area for family fun in the water. The dark spots in the water near the shore are some leaves that blew in a few days earlier.

Bass Lake is a quiet 12 acre lake that can be accessed by a small channel off the northwest portion of Clearwater Lake. The channel is wide enough for a fishing boat to squeeze through, but not a pontoon. Not surprisingly, many nice size bass and pan fish can be caught in here in a short period of time. The lake is 16 feet deep and has some weeds on some of the shoreline which provides great cover for the fish.

Lot 74 has some pretty nice sunsets throughout the year. This picture is another example of the small window of view captured by the camera not doing any justice to what you see with your eyes when standing there.

The best part about watering the golf course is taking some shots between the water cycles. This is an attempted shot over the pond between holes 3 and 8. If this were a video, you would see the ball splashing into the water shortly after this picture was taken.

Lot 53 is a unique lot because of its location. It's in a quiet bay, yet you have huge water views. Access to the lot comes off of Memory Lane. There are some very large trees on the lot, the swimming area is very nice (hard sand bottom and water that is shallow at first and then gets deeper gradually) and the fishing is also really good right off your pier.

Seeing deer on the private roads that surround the lake is very common. I am not sure if it is because the land hasn't been hunted in so many years or if they are just a friendly helot rd of deer, but the deer out here do not seem to have any fear of people. While they won't let you get close enough to pet them, they do allow you get right up near them and when they see a vehicle on the road, they often just step off to the side, watch it go by, and go right back to what they were doing.

We do not have many sunset pictures from this part of the lake because we keep the boat on lot 43 on the north side. This sunset is taken from the south part of the lake and looks over the southwestern part of the lake.

This picture of hole number 4 was taken shortly after we seeded it. The picture looks from the green to the tee. Hole 4 is a 430 yard par 4 with a giant pond in the center of the hole.

Lot 42 has it all. Southern exposure, a large stand of red pine trees surrounding the building site, mile long views, and a sandy shoreline that everybody wants. For more details on this lake lot, Click Here..

One of the staples of Northern Wisconsin lakes is the sound of the loons. With Clearwater Lake being a private lake, there isn't all the noise you find on public lakes so the sounds of the loon echo through the air all summer long. In this picture two baby loons are being protected by their parents.

This picture of a mother fox with her cute little baby was taken right at the St. Mary's entrance of the property (before the gates went up and the road was replaced). All sorts of wildlife can be seen around the lake.

The color of the water caught my eye today so I snapped this picture from lot 53. I don't know if it's because the water is so clear or some other factor, but the color of the water seems to change on a daily basis out here depending on the sky. Some days it's aqua blue looking, others it's deep blue, and others it's a rich blue-green color.

Here is a picture taken from lot 41 on an early fall day. The contrast of the fall colors and the deep blue water make looking at the lake a mesmerizing experience all fall long.

Ahhh, a nice refreshing dip in the lake! The water of the lake is so clean and refreshing, you feel great after being in the water. Having experience in many Wisconsin lakes growing up, I can say with conviction, not many lakes leave you feeling CLEAN and refreshed after a dip!

In this picture the eagle was taking off after a fish. I took a series of pictures, but by the time she got to the water to grab the fish she was out of the range of my el cheapo camera's capabilities. This was the best picture of the ones I snapped.

A drive down Memory Lane is no longer just a figure of speech. This private road that winds through the woods on the north side of the property is called Memory Lane. The drive is nice in the spring, luscious in the summer, and spectacular in the fall. The canopy has developed a great deal since the road was cut in and soon will cover the road completely.

We were out on lot 26 today checking on the ice and we found that the lake is now fully covered in ice. I loved the way the colors in the sky were reflecting off the glass-like layer of ice and I snapped this picture.

Ever get the feeling you are being watched? As I've said before, the eagles seem to be omnipresent at times. You will be walking along and hear a squawk. You look up to see one of the eagles staring at you just like this.

It is hard to be descriptive when it comes to the size of trees. While these pines on lot 43 are not the biggest on the property, they are a good representation of the average tree height around the lake. This picture has a 6 foot tall person on the end of the pier to give a good perspective of how tall the trees on the property really are.

Words can't describe the sunsets from this part of the lake so I won't even try today. The picture was taken from Loon Song Point and looks toward Bonita Point.

This is a nice side profile of the baby eagle that liked to follow us around the property. We've spent hours holding our arms out like they do in the movies, but no eagle has been willing to try and land on our arm....which might be a good thing!

The views from the top of the north ridge are amazing all year round. In the fall, when a dash of color is added between the building site of these waterfront lots and the lake, another layer of beauty is added to the views.

This picture of Clearwater Lake Trail was taken right from where the road enters the property off of Highway 45. Clearwater Lake Trail is the southern entrance to the property and serves the lake lots on the south and west side of the lake.

The trees on Loon Song Point are massive and tower over the lake. These old trees create a park-like setting for all of the lots at the end of the point.

I saw one of the lot owners out fishing and snapped this picture to give a scale of sorts. The boat is close to the middle of the lake, I took the picture from lot 27 at the end of Bonita Point. Sometimes the scope of the water views is lost on me until I see a boat out on the water.

This picture looks across one of the parks in the St. Mary's part of the property. Across the road from where this picture was taken (the opposite direction of the picture) is where the tennis courts will be.

This picture is another case of having the wrong camera for the job. The baby loons are such cute little things, but a zoom from a cheap camera never captures them the way the eyes see them. This picture was taken down on the western-most finger of the lake where the loons often hang out in the early summer.

Lot 13 has over 400 feet of lake frontage as well as over 500 feet of frontage on the outlet. Legend (from old-timers who once fished the lake) is that the giant musky hang out at the mouth of the outlet feeding on the abundance of bait fish in the area. While the biggest musky caught since we have been on the property is 51 inches, everyone tells us there are much bigger ones in the lake. For more detailed information about this lot Click Here.

The eagle tree was on the property when we bought it. We thought it was a very interesting piece of art and wanted to keep it to tie the old with the new. The tree now sits where the pitcher's mound of the old baseball field used to be.

Even overcast days can be pretty in Northern Wisconsin. This picture was taken from the boat and looks at lot 27. The tall dead tree you see in the middle of the picture can be seen from most places around the lake. If you're ever looking for the eagles, it should be the first place you look. They love that tree.

The center of this picture is the end of hole nine of the golf course. On the left side of the picture you can see the first part of hole number one.

The building site on lot 61 sits on a small ridge about 125 feet back from the lake. This picture was taken from the ridge about where the front of a house would go. The elevation change makes for a great natural spot for a walk out basement. One of the nicer things about building back a bit further from the lake on this lot is that the water wraps around you on both the north and the south side so you get the feel of being surrounded by water. More information on this lot can be found Here.

A spring snow storm? Yep, they happen in Northern Wisconsin. After a string of warm weather that saw all the snow melt and ice come off the lake, we got hit with 10 inches of wet snow. The huge trees on Loon Song Point looked really pretty with that heavy snow on them so I snapped this picture. In 2 days the snow was gone.

This largemouth bass is a good example of what you can catch on the lake. The lake is filled with trophy bass, musky, northern pike and walleye and also has a huge population of pan fish.

Sometimes winter can be pretty too. This picture is taken from lot 13 and looks back along the outlet to the bridge on Memory Lane. I'm normally not a winter picture taker, but this view struck me as serene.

Lot 5 is located on the far western tip of the lake, which is very peaceful and quiet. Throughout the summer, it serves as a safe haven for the loons and their babies. This lot is also located within a short distance of the Three Eagle Bike Trail and the development's private golf course.

This is a double post from the Model Home Blog page, but the picture was so impressive I wanted it in both spots. We were finishing up the backfilling as the sun went down and they sky basically exploded in color. I think it's safe to say that the owner of this house will enjoy some mind-blowing sunsets!

Ice melting off the lake is my favorite part of winter because it means summer is getting closer! This winter sunset picture was taken from lot 72.

Lot number 7 is another one of the unique lots on the lake. This lot is located on the most western peninsula of the lake. It faces east so the sunrises are amazing, it has over 250 feet of frontage and it's located on the quietest part of the lake where the loons love to hang out.

While this picture is not all that fantastic as far as sunset pictures go, I like how the fisherman is just a tiny black shadow drowned out by the pinks and blues of the sunset.

The moon rises over the lake on a late summer evening as a fog settles in. This picture was taken from the boat, but many of the lots on the north side of the lake offer views like this of both the sun and the moon rising.

I took this picture of hole number 3 of the golf course shortly after it was seeded in. This long par 4 is a fun double dogleg with a green protected by a couple of giant pines.

This aerial photo was taken over Coca Cola Lake and looks to the northeast over Clearwater Lake. The lake on the upper right is Bass Lake, which is bigger than Coca Cola Lake even though you would never guess from the picture. On the bottom of the picture you can see part of the Three Eagle bike trail that runs through the property.

I often talk about the crystal clear water and hard sand bottom of our wonderful spring fed lake, this picture shows exactly what I am referring to. This picture could be taken from pretty much any of the lake lots in the spring. Bait fish are abundant in the lake and you see them everywhere you look in the water.

Sun and moon cycles are pretty interesting. Here, the moon hangs low over Coca Cola Lake on a fall evening. The picture would have been even nicer if a breeze hadn't picked up and rippled the water as I snapped the photo.

Lot 6 on the western part of the lake in Musky Bay has a lot of color in the fall. This quiet end of the lake is peaceful all year round, but is especially easy on the eyes in the fall.

This picture shows all the wonderful things about having a private course for lake lot owners. No dress code, no rule against putting a bucket out to hit into (as long as you pick it up when you're done), and no problem golfing with the sprinklers on. If you want to iron your pants and be super serious, you go to a course in town. If you want to relax and have some fun, you go out to your very own course and blast away!

Located right in front of a honey hole for crappie, this lot (76) has magnificent 270 degree views, a gradual slope down to the water, huge old growth pines (this picture does a poor job of showing the size of these trees) and easy access off of Loon Song Point. For more information on this waterfront lot, Click Here.

This picture shows Bonita Point road in the fall. The canopy has almost fully developed on this private drive that serves lots 26-31. As fall continues, the colors will get more and more vibrant.

These are the sights you'll see on an evening boat ride or fishing expedition. The bird flying across in front of the wispy clouds is a heron of some sort. Someone told me what it was called, but the name escapes me at the moment. Whatever it is, it did its part in making this picture pretty.

What's the best way to enjoy winter? In my opinion, it is to stay inside your warm house and look out at these fabulous sunsets every night!

This picture kind of shows the colors on the eastern shore near Loon Song Point. Fall is the most gorgeous of the seasons in Northern Wisconsin.

I was walking along the shoreline doing some fish-watching and I saw this really nice bass chasing a small one. Fish-watching is easy to do out here at Clearwater Lake because the water is so crystal clear. I've found it to be just as enjoyable to go out looking for fish in the water as it is to actually try and catch them.

Fall is a time when Mother Nature really has some fun in Northern Wisconsin. The combinations of colors and lighting seem endless. I liked this picture because it shows how little color is needed to liven up a scene.

This picture on a calm summer day shows the wonderful beach area by lots 53 to 55. The water in the lake is crystal clear, the frontage is hard sand bottom, and the slopes to deep waters (the lake is 50 feet deep) is gradual in most spots. Another wonderful advantage of this private lake is that it has extremely strong springs. The past couple of years have been very dry in Northern Wisconsin with some "lakes" (I use parenthesis because a damned up river is hardly a real lake!) being down as much as 16 feet! Our water level was down 3.5 inches at its lowest point this year.

I'm King of the World! That's what I feel like shouting every time I am on lot 34 or 35. Standing on the peak of the north ridge always leads to a "WOW!" moment where for an instant you feel like everything in the world is perfect.

This picture looks south off the Memory Lane bridge. The bridge crosses the outlet from the lake and the view from the bridge is very picturesque in the fall.

Lot 37 is one of the lots located on what I call the North Ridge. This elevated lot has a moderate slope down to the lake and would be a great spot for a walk out basement. The drive in through the mature forest to the home site overlooking the water will take your breath away. When you get to the water you will find a hard sand bottom, crystal clear water, and views that will astound you. For more information on this lot, Click Here.

This picture was taken from the shoreline of lot 32. The building site is elevated above the water making for a great spot to put a walk out basement. The lot features a bunch of big oaks, maples, pines, and birch which will make a wonderful drive into your home site. Another perk of lot 32 is its proximity to the golf course. The back entrance to the course is located right across from the stub that provides access to this lot.

The driveway that winds into the private golf course is extremely pretty in the fall. The golf course road leads to the parking area that sits between the end of hole nine and the beginning of hole one.

This is another of the many unique lake lots on Clearwater Lake. The building site is high up on a hill that is set back from the water. The view is breath-taking in person. The small frog pond in front wouldn't make a great place for swimming, but you can find ducks on the pond which are nice to look at and lots of frogs which keeps children entertained for hours. Another great feature of this lot is the big sandy beach. When the property was used as a camp, this was one of the main swimming areas so they created a large sandy beach by the water.

This 49 inch muskie is one of the bigger ones that have been caught in the last couple of years. This fish, like all the other muskies caught on the lake was released after the photo was taken.

The ice is barely hanging on over on the west side of the lake. It is always fun to watch the ice come off a lake. Some years it just slowly disappears into the water, others it comes off violently as the wind rips a path through it. This was a slowly melt away year.

Clearwater Lake is plenty big enough to fly in to if you have floats on your plane. If you prefer to fly into an airport, the Eagle River airport is only about 8 miles away. Let us know when you're coming in and we will pick you up.

This fall picture shows the colors in front of the lots in the 90s. Those lots are mostly pine, but do have just enough splashes of color near the lake to light up the shoreline in the fall.

This picture taken from lot 53 struck me as neat because of how glassy the water is. Look how detailed the reflections of the clouds are in the water.

I took this picture because I thought the water was a really neat shade of blue. The dark blue water made the pines along the shoreline just pop out.

This is the lake lot we will be building a model home in a couple of weeks. This lot is out on Loon Song Point and has fantastic sunset views.

New grass seed has a funny color. This neon green turf popped up on hole number five shortly after it was planted. This hole is a drivable par 4 with a long pond sitting a couple hundred yards down the fairway.

We're back to the brave baby eagles. This brave young eagle liked to follow us around while we were working. In this picture we parked the bulldozer and 30 seconds later, the eagle was using it for a perch!

Lot 24 is located in the eastern corner of Fisherman's Bay. There is a pocket of low land (that you see in the picture above) in front of the lot which calls for a short boardwalk (20 feet or so) to get to the lake. At the lake, the bottom is a hard sand bottom. The fishing in this corner of the bay is excellent. The building site is in a heavily wooded area with great views of the sun setting over the western finger of the lake.

This picture is of Memory Lane right by where it enters the property off Highway 45. The roads that service the lake are private blacktop roads set back 700 feet from the lake wherever possible.

This picture is of the Three Eagle Bike Trail. The trail runs from Three Lakes to Eagle River and crosses a portion of the Clearwater Lake property. It is a great place to take a walk or a bike ride and is easily accessible to all owners on Clearwater Lake.

Here is a picture of the loons out for a swim. The speed at which they swim always amazes me. I would love to get a picture out when one of them is running across the water (they do this occasionally) because that is really amazing to watch. Of course, I never have my camera ready when something like that is happening!

Lot number 26 is another lot that has many unique characteristics. It is located on the west side of Bonita Point and it has a very private building site. This isn't the type of lot that is suited for a 10,000 sq ft mansion, but would make a wonderful spot for a 1,500 - 2,000 sq ft cabin. The sunsets are beautiful from this lot and there is a really good fishing hole located about 40 yards offshore. Click Here for more information about this waterfront lot.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in this case, I agree completely. Planting Ground Lake is considered one of the nicer lakes on the chain of lakes that is so popular up here. While this picture doesn't illustrate how clear Clearwater Lake is, it does illustrate how dirty seepage lakes and damned up rivers are. At Clearwater Lake you can jump in and feel refreshed and clean, which is something that can't be said for many other lakes in Northern Wisconsin.

We are big believers in catch and release fishing out at Clearwater Lake. Watching a musky jet through the water is fun whether they are swimming towards your lure or away from your boat after a short photo shoot!

The common area behind the lots in the 60s is filled with big pines providing lots of shaded areas that are a great spot to relax in the summer. Of course, the lake is an even better place to relax in the summer, but sitting under one of these trees enjoying the peaceful quiet of Northern Wisconsin isn't all bad either.

Not a bad backdrop for an evening pontoon boat ride, ey? The view in person is much better than is captured by my cheap digital camera!

This is just a cool picture of a young eagle taking off from the south beach. The silhouette against the bright blue sky and over the blue water and dark green trees just struck me as really cool so I'm posting it.

There is nothing more beautiful than a sunny Northern Wisconsin Fall day. Taking a walk down the private roads around the lake in the fall is a great way to make a temporary escape from the real world.

Here we are again, back to running on water of Clearwater Lake! This ball-retrieving jump into the water took place in the bay by lots 55 and 56.

Granted, this might not be something the lot owners at Clearwater will do often, but when we were moving the skidsteer to clean up some fallen trees, I snapped this picture of Memory Lane. Memory Lane is the private road that serves lots 1 through 55 on the north side of the lake. The road is gorgeous all year round, but in the fall it just steps up another level. In a few years the canopy will completely cover this road and it will be even more amazing!

The fall colors light up Fisherman's Bay in this picture. This picture is looking from the water back to lots 19-22. Fisherman's Bay is a quiet bay to the west of Bonita Point.

Yet another beautiful sunset over the lake. I could post a picture like this every day. Where else can you take out the boat in the evening and see a sunset like this with practically no one else on the lake?

Canoe Race! This canoe race went down in the bay in front of lots 13 to 25. Clearwater lake is an irregularly shaped lake which means a lot of bays and miles of shoreline. This gives those who want to have fun doing things other than waterskiing, tubing, or wakeboarding many places to enjoy themselves without being bothered by the wake of other boats.

One of the many benefits to a private lake is sunset pontoon boat rides. With boating restrictions in the evenings comes a peaceful setting for a pontoon boat ride or some quiet fishing.

This panoramic shot was taken a couple of days after we planted the grass. Hole number seven is one of the more fun holes on the course. It bends back at a very sharp angle and at the elbow lies a small pond.

Peaceful. Private. Pristine. Picture taken from lake lot number 67.

The most impressive part of lot 29 is the massive pine trees. This picture doesn't do a very good job at showing the size of these trees, but it's safe to say there's no way you can get your arms even half way around these giants if you were to try and give the tree a bear hug. The building site would be excellent for a walk out basement and the approach from the walkout to the lake would be level.

The evenings on lot 77 are pretty amazing. The sun lights up the water and trees (which are huge!) in front of you while the sun sets over the rest of the lake to your west. This lot has a gradual slope down to the water and has a hard sand bottom for shoreline. For more details on this beautiful lake lot, Click Here.

This photo is of one of the lot owners doing some opening weekend fishing in the corner of the bay near lot 56. Fishing on Clearwater Lake can be a little bit like shooting fish in a barrel. The water is so clear you can pick your target and go get it.

Bass Lake is a quiet little oasis with some nice size large and small mouth bass. While this picture doesn't illustrate it real well, you can see the inlet from Clearwater Lake in the background. Fishing boats can fit through the opening, but pontoon boats will not be able to squeeze through. The tall dead pine by the outlet is one of the many trees that the eagles like to sit in.

I am a big fan of the sunsets from this area of the lake (by the high 80s/low 90s) because they change so much throughout the year. As you probably know, the high latitude of Northern Wisconsin leads to the sun moving all over the sky throughout the year. This area always has a sunset view and the place the sun sets is always changing which leads to a lot of neat picture taking opportunities.

If you live on Clearwater Lake you can walk on water! Well, maybe not, but this was a nice spring day and we were in the mood to have some fun.

Lot 8 has big water views, fantastic sunrise views and great fishing right off your pier. This heavily wooded lot is very private and is located close to the golf course and the Three Eagle walking and biking trail.

This picture is of Clearwater Lake Trail where it heads down to the lake before turning to the west and following the lake to get to the lots on the west side. The drive along the lake in the fall has to be one of the prettiest drives in Northern Wisconsin.

Big water views and the beautiful drive down Bonita Point are what make lot 28 so special. This waterfront lot is elevated giving a bird's eye view of the lake. The sunrises from this lot are a wonder to watch. The hard sand bottom and gradual drop off at the end of your pier make this a great lot for swimming and the location on the Bonita Point peninsula allows one to see water in almost every direction.

This is a crummy picture of a real nice buck in late fall. There are many deer that roam the property, including many nice bucks. It's a very common thing to be driving on one of the lake roads and see deer standing on the side of the road grazing. They are practically unfazed by vehicles.

This peaceful picture was taken from lot 53. This waterfront lot sits in the northeastern bay of the lake and looks to the south and west. Later in the fall, the colors on the point you see in the center of the picture will change color and make it an even more picturesque setting.

For those of you who are looking for a lot that is more in the open, we have about 25 lots that fit that description. This particular lot is number 68 and it's 448 feet deep with a few trees in the front. One of the nicer things about the lots in the open is that they have wonderful sunset views. They are also near the open park areas of the common ground which is a great place to play some catch with the kids or take the puppy out for some frisbee.

This picture taken from the shore of lot 122, which is on the portion of the property that we refer to as the South Ridge. As this picture shows, the lake on a calm summer day acts like a mirror and makes the clouds just pop against the bright blue sky and clear blue water.

This lake lot is nearly surrounded by water. Lot 74 sits out on the end of Loon Song Point and the water wraps around you in all directions. The trees on this lot are a mix of pretty big pines and really big pines. My favorite feature of this lot is the year-round sunset views. Since we are in Northern Wisconsin, the sun moves quite a bit in the sky, but no matter if it's setting off of Bonita Point or Kindling Point, you have a wonderful view of it from lot 74. For those interested in fishing for panfish, this lot is in a great spot. There is a reed bed in front of the lot where you can find hundreds and hundreds of pan fish all year round. Click Here for more details on this lake lot.

This picture was taken from the back of lot 36. I decided to post this picture because it shows the depth of the lots (the lake is about 125 feet past the top of the ridge in the picture). The lake lots are about 400 feet deep wherever possible so the driveways to the homes can wind through the trees creating an extrememly private feel. This particular lot has a mix of birch, oak, maple, and pine trees.

This picture turned out to be a bit confusing. The left side of the picture is the view from the tee box of hole number one and you can see to the dogleg. The right side of the picture is from the green and looks back to the dogleg.

Lot 16 is located in what we refer to as Fisherman's Bay. The woods on this lot is really nice and has a distinct Northern Wisconsin feel. The views from the building site are excellent, especially at sunrise. At the lake, there is about 10 to 15 feet of low area between the solid ground and the start of the lake. One of the prettier times of year for this lot is when the lilly pad's are blooming in the bay. As one would infer from the name "Fisherman's Bay" the fishing in this bay is excellent in both the summer and winter.

This isn't a giant musky, but it is a 42 incher with great color and markings. The picture is just a perfect Clearwater Lake picture though, the water is bright blue, the trees are lush and green, the lake is quiet, and it's a really nice fish. Fishing on the lake is a great way to spend an evening!

As I was mowing the park area by the St. Mary's entrance, I noticed the eagles circling overhead and snapped this picture. It seems that no matter where you are on the property, the eagles end up flying by to see what is going on.

Lot 65 is one of the lots with woods in the front and open lawn in the back. The shoreline of this lot is pristine just like everywhere else on the lake and there is a really good fishing hole just to the north. The trees on this lot are mostly red pine with some oaks, maples and birch sprinkled in. As with all the lots on the eastern shoreline, the sunset views are quite spectacular. For more information on this lot, you can Click Here.
