Q: What is the difference between buying at Clearwater Lake and buying on the Chain?

Q: Are there rules or regulations in place that will ensure my investment is protected?
A: Yes there are. The rules and regulations in place for the Clearwater Lake Club Development are for the benefit of all present and future owners. They are intended to protect the market value of the property for residential and recreational purposes, to preserve the natural beauty of the property, and to maximize the enjoyment for ALL owners.
   While we encourage homes with a unique look and design, the architectural guidelines do not require it. Their purpose is to ensure that neighbors' homes are just as pleasant to the eye as your own. The primary architectural restriction is a 1400 sq. ft. minimum footprint for the main level of residence. Other minor restrictions apply to building material, roof pitch, and colors. Again, the intent is not to create a cookie cutter development, nor to rule with an iron fist, but to make sure that care is taken in the design and construction of homes to create a beautiful collection of homes within the development and ultimately increase the value for the home owners.

Q: Where exactly is Clearwater Lake?
A: From Eagle River we are 5 miles South on Hwy 45. Our main entrance and office are located on St. Mary's Road which will be on the right. From Three Lakes take Hwy 45 North for 4 miles to St. Mary's Road.

Q: Is high speed internet service available?
A: Yes, high speed DSL service is provided by Verizon

Q: Is there an exclusive agreement with certain contractors, or can outside contractors work on the site?
A: There is no exclusive agreement with any contractor. We have experience with many local contractors and will certainly share our thoughts and experiences with lot owners if we are asked.

Q: How is the cell phone reception on the property?
A: There is excellent signal strength for all cell phone providers that we have encountered.

Q: Does the lake have public access?
A: No, access to the lake is for Clearwater Lake Club members only. There is a private boat launch near lot 114 for club members to use.

Q: Where are the closest airports?
A: The Eagle River Airport is less than 10 miles north of the property. The Three Lakes Airport is less than 10 miles south of the property. The closest airport that major airlines fly into is located in Rhinelander and is 28 miles from the property.

Q: Are there any fees associated with membership?
A: Yes, the General Assessment fee is capped at $500.

Q: Is the entrance gated?
A: Yes the entrances are gated.

Q: How far do I have to go to get the state snowmobile trail?
A: The state snowmobile trails are near the property and easy to get to.

Q: Do Bass Lake and Coca-Cola lake connect with Clearwater Lake?
A: A culvert is all that connects Coca-Cola Lake with Clearwater Lake so boats will not be able to go from one lake to the other. Bass Lake is connected to Clearwater Lake via a small navigable channel. The channel is large enough for fishing boats, but likely too small for pontoon boats.

Q: Is buying on land contract an option?
A: Yes, you may buy on land contract. Please contact us for more information on this option.

Q: Is there a grocery store close to the property?
A: There are two grocery stores in Eagle River, Trig's and a Pick 'n' Save. Eagle River is 5 miles north of the property. Three Lakes is 4 miles south of the property and there you will find Baker's Three Lakes Food Supermarket.

Q: Are there any casinos nearby?
A: Yes, three casinos are located a short drive from the property. The Mole Lake casino in Crandon is 37 miles away, Lake of the Torches Casino in Lac Du Flambeau is 41 miles away and Lake Vieux Desert Casino in Watersmeet, MI is 34 miles from the property.

Q: Where is the nearest hospital?
A: The nearest hospital is the Eagle River Memorial Hospital, 201 Hospital Rd, Eagle River, WI. It is seven miles from the property.
