Living RoomThe living room is the center of the house. It is octagon-shaped and sunken about a foot. The floors are a rich cherry and it the framed beams in the ceiling give it great character. Because of the shape of the room, it can be configured in many different ways. Some parts of the year I liked to be close to the fireplace, other parts I wanted to spend time looking out the window at the lake and golf course. The room is over 400 square feet and is extremely flexible as far as decorating and furniture placement is concerned. |
